Dental office construction in Spring, TX.
Operatories, sterilization rooms, X-ray suites, reception. Built to spec, on the timeline you need to start seeing patients.
Dental construction is more like restaurant work than typical office buildout — multiple specialized utilities (vacuum, compressor, nitrous, water), specialized finishes, lead-lined walls for imaging, ADA-compliant patient bathrooms, and infection-control standards that drive material choices for floor, wall, and surface finishes.
We’ve done a number of these in the Spring corridor and the broader Houston market. The work splits about equally between new-practice buildouts in shell space and existing-practice expansions or relocations.
What we build out for dental practices
- Operatories — Plumbed and powered to your equipment manufacturer's spec sheet (A-dec, Pelton & Crane, Midmark, etc.). Cabinetry per layout.
- Sterilization room — Centrally located. Counter heights, autoclave power, ultrasonic cleaner plumbing, instrument storage.
- X-ray / imaging suite — Lead-lined walls and door per state regulations. Coordination with imaging vendor for panoramic, 3D cone-beam, or intraoral mounts.
- Vacuum + compressor room — Sound-isolated. Drain plumbing. Electrical for dry-vacuum systems. Often a small dedicated room or closet.
- Reception + waiting — Reception desk built to height with privacy considerations. Waiting room with appropriate finishes and lighting.
- Private offices + consultation rooms — Sound-attenuated walls for HIPAA-conscious conversations.
- Restrooms — ADA-compliant patient restroom; staff restroom separate.
- Mechanical + electrical infrastructure — Sized for current and projected operatory count. Easier to size up now than retrofit later.
How we coordinate with your equipment vendor
Dental equipment vendors typically provide an installation specification with required utilities at each operatory. We treat that document as the spec for rough-in. Our PM coordinates directly with your equipment rep to confirm location and connection details before walls close in.
We don’t supply or install the equipment itself — that’s the vendor’s scope. We’re responsible for the building being ready for them.
